Green Party LAT Invite
Dear all
First of all, many apologies for not having written to you all before
following our inaugural Local Action Team meeting in March. It was great to
see you there, and I hope you all found the meeting interesting and useful.
Please do though consider the meetings/format etc as very much a work in
progress and if there are things that you felt worked well or badly, it
would be good to hear about it so that the LAT can evolve into something
that best serves the needs of residents and other stakeholders in the City
Centre.
I am writing now to let you know, hopefull with enough notice, that we have
set the date of the next LAT meeting for the 12th May, at 7pm in the
Fisherman's Vestry in St Paul's Church on West Street - the same venue as
last time. The time is slightly later than before, and I hope it is more
convenient for you to be able to get there in good time as a result.
The agenda such as it is for the meeting has the following items on it.
Following the recent spate of graffiti attacks in parts of the Lanes and
Regency Square, I have asked Sarah Leach, the City Council's Graffiti
Officer to come along and tell us about her work and the strategy that she
follows. She will also set out who is responsible for clearing up graffiti
and what help the Council can provide. She will be happy to answer
questions about this.
All the best
Sven Rufus
Green Party Councillor, Regency Ward
